my mum received these pictures attached in a forwarded mail from a fren. i thought it was quite funny and so here they are, for your amusement.


there was no source i could credit to (not surprisingly), so. (EDIT: paiseh, there is, in the first 2 pictures. webbie's at the bottom right hand corner) i foresee more migrations, brain drain, tougher rules to get visas to go abroad, increased stress level, more frequent visits to the IR followed by intense counseling sessions, higher GST percentage, more people shopping online which will result in consequent increase in import tax, and a whole lot more i rather not say. because i'm scaring myself already.

on a different note, i have, as of today, joined the Porridge Club in my household. it now consists of a cute grandma (not me LAH, though i might consider the adjective), a docile man recovering from high fever (rather quickly too, thank God), and a sian-ed girl who's had the lao sais.

school's starting next week, and i need to:
1. get a harddisk
2. reformat my lappie which is under suspicion for virus infection
3. get illustrator and indesign on my desktop, somehow
4. cut my toenails.

i haven't gotten down to cutting my mane, due to strong protests from the mother. she insists i keep it till it's nice and long for my sister's wedding. i'm sure by then it'll be long enough to sweep the floor with, and maybe if i climb up some hdb flat and let it down i'll have a prince charming haul himself up with it. and then i'll live happily ever after, a la Rapunzel. -rolls eyes- too long, too long!

meanwhile..

i've updated my sneakers with red laces! heh.
